Manchester United Reportedly Set To Fend Off Arsenal With Second Signing Of The Summer

Manchester United look set to confirm their second signing of the summer with various outlets reporting that a deal for Morgan Schneiderlin is close to completion

The highly rated French midfielder has been mooted as a transfer target for both Manchester United and Arsenal for some time now but it now looks as if The Red Devils have beaten their London rivals with their latest acquisition.

The news initially broke in France with football magazine l’Equipe reporting that the Southampton man has agreed terms on a four-year deal, with the two parties set to agree on a fee.

The fee that the Saints will accept is rumoured to be £24 million which seems reasonable in today’s transfer market especially when one considers that only last summer Manchester United paid over £30 million for left back Luke Shaw.
